First Day of School

Allison started back to Mother's Day Out on Tuesday, September 6.  She is attending the same school she went to last year and was so excited to get back to it.  She is in the two year old class this year and I know she is going to have an incredible year!  Here she is ready to go on the first day...

She was very proud of her new "A-B-C" dress!  We arrived at the school and with absolutely no hesitation, she went right in!

Such a big girl and ready to take on the world!  She was so excited to see the play kitchen in her classroom.  She LOVES it!
Here she is with her sweet teachers, Ms. Sherri and Ms. Martha.  Ms. Sherri was actually her teacher in the one year old classroom last year and Allison loves her!
I picked Allison up at 2:30 with reports of a great day!  We went to Tutti Frutti for a yogurt treat after school! You can't go wrong with that!
I really do love Mother's Day Out. It is such a blessing.  She gets the opportunity to learn, play, interact and be nurtured while I get the chance to catch up on a "to-do" list and become a better mother for having some time to myself. I consider her little school such a blessing!  We went back this morning and she was ready and willing.  Our little vegetarian/picky eater selected a breakfast of broccoli for her second day of school! She LOVES it!

Today was Pizza, School Shirt and Gymnastics day at school! Here she is in her school shirt before we left.  She was so excited to go back!
I am so thankful she is so happy and can't wait to get her in a few moments!  Happy Thursday to you all!

It's Football Time in Oklahoma (and in Houston)!

All the way down in Houston we are celebrating that it is that magical time of year again.  It is the beginning of Fall and more importantly the beginning of Sooner football!  Houston was kind enough to stay in the mid 90's on Saturday. Compared to the triple digit temperatures we have been dealing with daily, it almost felt like Fall was peaking around the corner.  Most of you know that Nick and I both graduated from the University of Oklahoma and we LOVE the Sooners!  We are trying our best to brainwash little Allison into LOVING OU as well.  Fortunately, I think we are doing a pretty good job.  She can spot any OU from a mile away and loves to chant "Boomer Sooner!" with us.  She was so excited that the Sooners were playing football on Saturday!  Here she is ready for game day...

She was so proud of her new OU dress!  Here she is with Daddy on game day...

And with mommy too...
Baby Charlotte was even in on the action.  I am almost 23 weeks along. Can you believe it!?  Time flies!
We tried to take a Sooner family shot with the camera timer.  They turned out OK, it will always be a memory, right?

This might be my favorite video of Allison ever. I am going to request a bit of slack from you.  She loves to count so that is where the "number 2" came from in the video.  She is too funny! I adore this!

Before the game started, we had to make a costume change.  Allison discovered "the big girl OU outfit  in her closet and decided she wanted to sport that outfit for the day as well.  Lots of costume changes in the Spencer house!

I'm sure you will see Allison in these outfits A LOT as Fall continues!

Well, Boomer Sooner, friends!  Luckily, we showed up and played well. I hope your team won on Saturday!  Here's to college football time!

Meet The Teacher

Allison had Meet The Teacher Day at her preschool on September 1.  It went very well and her teachers are so kind! One of them was actually Allison's teacher last year and she moved up to the two year old class this year.  Allison starts school this coming Tuesday.  Allison and mommy are very ready!  She loves it so much and I know she needs interaction with children her age.  She was being a bit uncooperative with pictures so I was only able to snap one.  Here she is right before we left for school...
Don't worry, we will have PLENTY of pictures from her first day!  Happy Saturday and BOOMER!
