I blinked. I simply blinked and almost a year is gone. I am a weepy, weaning, hormonal mess and I just realized that I have yet to document Charlotte's first ten months. TEN MONTHS! I have yet to share with you that she can say "Dada," "Bye bye." and most importantly, "Mama." I have not told you that she eats just about everything, yet she does not have a tooth in her pretty little head. I also have yet to tell you that our baby will not be a baby must longer. And where do I start on Miss Allison?! I have not shared how she has developed into a mature, beautiful big sister. She is four going on fourteen and has more personality than Sophia Grace and Rosie (who we love by the way). So where do I start? Do I just put a bunch of pictures and dates on this poor defunct blog? I have no idea. Well, we can try that I guess. Let's start with our Charli girl's monthly pictures...

And here we are, friends. In case you are wondering, Christmas is less than two months away. I am able to keep track rather easily with my December 26 baby. I do have several important "firsts" to document. I am sure I will tell myself that I will get to it, but then, will I? I will. The girls might be in high school by that time, but it will be documented,
Allison has had her own magical months and many "firsts" herself. She really is such a doll!
She attended Princess Camp in June (because for some reason we like to perpetuate the belief that she really is a princess!).
Cici came to visit!
First Fourth of July as a big sis!
The Ristroph's of Dubai (formerly Singapore) came for a visit!
Allison had her first "manicure" (OK, it was a polish change) with the Ristroph's!
Playing in jama's!
Posing with Mommy!
On occasion, Mommy can be funny too (kind of!).
A quick picture before Ariel at the Country Club
Ariel came to the Country club!
A race with Mommy and Daddy and she got to sit in the Life Flight Helicopter!
Hanging out with the love of her life!
First day of school in the three year old class!
OU Game day in Norman!
A little better!
A family picture on the steps of the girl's future home (Kappa Kappa Gamma House at OU).
An outdoor concert at the Miller Theater!
A trip to see Grandpa!
School Picture day!
Allison's 4th birthday! She chose the "chips and cheese" place to eat aka Iguana Joe's. She LOVED the attention! About 15 waiters came out to sing, "Happy Birthday" to her!
The wagon was a birthday gift!
Celebrating her birthday at school1
Really, if you are still reading, you deserve some sort of award. What a jumbled picture drop. OK, so I scraped the surface of our life over the past few months. Paul McCartney's "Blackbird" is playing on Pandora right now and making me incredibly sentimental as I look at these beautiful girls. Nick and I are so blessed. I could not be more thankful. Though I beat myself up for not documenting and keeping up as well as I should; I have to remind myself that we are living in the moment. I am fortunate enough to see and hear things as they happen rather than through the lens of a camera. I hope I can continue to try to live in the moment as much as possible, but maybe update this sad blog more than once every six months.
