Charlotte is truly the best baby. I know people say this about their children, but she really is amazing. She took to nursing like a pro. She grows like a weed. She is the best sleeper! She started sleeping through the night around six weeks. Now at five months, she goes down promptly at 8:00 pm, sleeps until 7:30AM, takes two nice naps (a morning and an afternoon) and is constant good spirits. I know I sound like a bragger, but honestly this baby is always happy. Fortunately Big Sis Allison is incredibly proud of her sister and is the BIGGEST helper! I don't really know how to handle the lack of posts over the past several months other than to say you will probably see lots of REALLY OLD pictures...like from Christmas on. I apologize for the lack of updates and want to make sure I get caught up for our family so the girls can have this blog as a keepsake one day.
Why not start with December 2011? Allison was on the hinges of becoming a big sister. We made the most of her last few weeks as an only child. Here she is before "Breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Clause at our Country Club.

She had a lovely Christmas Program. She was a "Super Star!"A couple in Kingwood turn their house into a Winter Wonderland. We had a great time in the Christmas lights!
Allison's last day as an only child was Christmas Day. Needless to say it was special one. Santa showed up with a bike, kitchen and numerous other things. Cici and Poppy were here to share it with us and everything was magical. Seeing Christmas through a three year old's eyes is amazing. Here she is on Christmas Eve. She opened a present from Grandpa and one from Cici and Poppy,

Let's just say Christmas 2011 was so special! Our lives all changed on December 26. I hope Allison will always remember every bit of it with fond memories.
