Party Like You Are 21, Not 31!

February 25 was Nick's 31st birthday.  I surprised him with tickets to the Houston Rockets Game and a night out with some great friends.  It was a great night and we did act like we were 21 by staying out until the crazy hour of 2:00am.  We started the evening at a delicious restaurant, Ruggles. If you are ever in Houston, I highly recommend it!  Here I am with the birthday boy!

Tiff and Heather...

Justin and Payton...

After a scrumptious and filling dinner we went to the Toyota Center to watch the Houston Rockets play the New Jersey Nets.

Then the highlight of the night happened...guess who was at the game!?  KIM KARDASHIAN!!! Oh my gosh!  This is the second time since October that Kim Kardashian and I have been in the same place at the same time!  You can read about our October run in here.  Is that not the funniest thing?!  She is dating New Jersey Nets player, Kris Humphries, so she was there to see him play.  Here are some pictures we took of her.  Unfortunately, her seats were way better than ours, so my pictures are not the best, but you get the drift. She is the brunette wearing black in the front row second to the end.  Luckily, we had binoculars so we could spy on her all evening. She had on these amazing leather pants and these incredibly tall Christian Louboutin platform heels.  We really wanted to see her try to walk, but she stayed seated all night.

Sadly enough Kim's team lost, but great for us, our Rockets won!  Since we all have small children and all had a great babysitter we decided to continue "partying like it was someone's birthday" at the Howl at the Moon Piano Bar.  It was a fun way to finish the evening!

Happy, happy birthday, Nick! I love you more than you will ever know and I am so incredibly thankful for another year with you!
