Sayonara, Kevin and Tiffany!

Well, it's official, our sweet friends are leaving on June 7 to start their new lives across the world in Singapore.  I am incredibly sad for us, but really excited for them.  Nick and I and nine other couples hosted a going away party for Kevin and Tiffany at the Country Club on May 8.  Of course it was a rocking good time that ended with Nick and I arriving home at 3:00 am!  This was a true party with an after party and all!  Great times and what a way to send off some of our dearest friends on their next adventure.
The party had an Asian theme to celebrate their destination.  Here is some of the decor...

Susan did a great job with the decorations!  She painted the large dragon.  She is so talented.  Luckily, they did not ask me to do it.  That would have been a disaster!
We had a frame for everyone at the party to sign and a gift from the host couples.  We gave them a lot of Wilton Armetale to add to their collection.  They are fabulous cooks and love to entertain.  I highly doubt that will ever change so they will get great use out of their new pieces wherever they may be!

Here are the guests of honor in front of a Singapore flag...

And of course the party got going with lots of great friends and lots of dancing!

In typical Borger tradition, whenever someone leaves there is a Roast to honor (if you can use the word "honor" to describe a roast) them.  Nick and James wrote and performed the roast complete with "incriminating" pictures.  They did a great job.  It was really funny and not too harsh!

While we were all at the party, Allison stayed with Caroline, Mary Claire and their babysitter, Miss Brynna.  Of course she took beautiful pictures of them!

These moments absolutely melt my heart.  Allison loves Caroline and Mary Claire so much.  We truly hate to see them leave and I dread the moment Allison starts asking for "the girls" (as she does frequently) and we have to tell her the girls "went bye bye....to Singapore..."
We feel so thankful to have the time that we have had with Kevin, Tiffany, Caroline and Mary Claire.  The party was a bittersweet occasion.  We are so blessed to have them as friends and always wish the best for each of them.  Sayonara!
