Saturday consisted of early morning boot camp and 8 hours of yard work! Yes, I pulled all of my pansies (tear) and planted three flats of Impatiens, not to leave out the 16 pots on the porch of various other shade loving creatures like Caladiums and Coleus (pictures will come later). Nick was called into work about four hours into his "Allison Duty." So, a play pen in the shade, Elmo on the DVD player and toys made for a comfortable gardening spot for her!
Sunday started with church then a trip to Amarillo to watch Caroline and Mary Claire's dance recital. The beautiful girls did so well and what a shock, Allison danced from the audience.
This event brought some tears realizing that their departure draws closer by the day (two weeks to be exact). We do not want the girls to forget their roots while on the other side of the world. Nick and I gave each of the girls James Avery charm bracelets last year. They certainly need a Texas charm to add to that special bracelet....

Allison finished up the weekend with a dinner out Sunday night and a trip to the Borger carnival. It was just a sight seeing tour; no rides or cotton candy this go round!
The best part of her weekend? She lounged for a bit Sunday night watching Elmo in her new Elmo jams! What a special thing!

Now on to working on that Memorial Day weekend garage sale I am doing with Tiffany...probably should be working on that right this moment!
