Kemah

Nick and our friend Justin are on the hunt for kayaks.  They wanted to try it out before they make the leap and purchase one.  Last Saturday, we all went to Kemah so the boys could kayak and the girls and kids could play on the Boardwalk.  It was such a fun trip and I know we will go back again very soon.
Here are Tiffany and Zach on the dock.
And Miss Allison and me...
Allison and Zach wanted to ride the train, so that was our first stop!

Allison spotted the carousel. Even though she rode the carousel at the zoo  the day before and wasn't necessarily a fan, she was certain that she wanted to ride it.  I am so glad we did.  She did great!

We stopped off at the playground to let Zach and Allison run around and play for a bit.

Zach said he wanted to see fish and we were thrilled to join.  We all went to the Aquarium to see the fish. They had a "sting ray experience."  I thought Allison would love it!  You could feed the sting rays and even reach down and touch them.  Check this guy out!

Well, unfortunately, my judgement was not so great.  Allison might need therapy to get over the sting rays.  One practically jumped out of the tank at us and would not leave until we fed him.  Allison was hysterical.  Then she became downright angry because the same troublesome sting ray splashed her stroller.  "My stroller wet, mommy! Oh no!"  We finally left the aquarium and all was well with the world again.  Maybe we will try it again in a few years.
Zach did great with the sting rays and showed no fear!
Allison could not even pose for the picture because those guys were still lurking around near by.
After the incident we headed to the candy store.  Allison calls lollipops "sucker bubbles."  She is certainly a fan!
It was a great day with lots of experiences! I am sure this will not be our last trip to Kemah!
