The Corn Maze!

Friday night we ventured to Amarillo to go through the corn maze with the Ristrophs. We all had a great time! Here are a couple of pictures of Allison before we left. Once again in her bumbo chair (that she is too big for) because she crawls/cruises away. She is too busy for a picture, so I have to secure her in some fashion!




We have yet to make it to a pumpkin patch this year for pictures, but luckily there was a small pumpkin patch at the corn maze so we were able to snap a quick picture of Caroline, Mary Claire and Allison!


The Corn Maze is exactly like the title. It is just a corn farm that has a maze cut into it. One takes a questionnaire and answers questions to figure out whether to go left or right. We took the short maze since we had little ones with us! Here is a family picture of the three of us! So odd to see both Nick and I in a picture! Usually one of us is behind the camera (Thanks Tiff for taking our picture!)!



It was actually a lot cooler than we thought it would be; luckily we brought gear to bundle Allison up!




After we made it through the maze, we took a moment to look at the animals. Allison squealed with delight to see the cows, pigs, sheep and rams. Caroline and Mary Claire had fun playing in a big bucket of corn!





We had a great time and glad we took the opportunity to go enjoy the fall festivities! I enjoyed it too because nothing scary jumped out at me! That corn maze, called "Farmageddon," was across the farm. I do not like haunted houses or things where people or things jump out at me. Lucky for me, we had kids along for the ride! It saved me from a scare!

Can you believe Halloween is less than a week away!? Nick and I love it and look forward to it all year long! Happy Haunting!
