Caroline and Mary Claire or "The Girls" as Allison calls them, had their Valentine's parties at school last Friday. Allison was so lucky to be able to attend and feel like a "big girl!" Here she is with Mommy before Mary Claire's party started in Kindergarten...
Allison had a great time with Mary Claire and her "Big Kid" friends! Of course sweet Miss Tiff was there!
After our the Kindergarten party, we all headed over to the First Grade party! Caroline was so sweet to host both Mary Claire and Allison at her party!
Caroline and Mary Claire and both so sweet and kind to "Baby Allison!" She loves them so much!
I am absolutely thrilled and heart broken all at the same time to announce that Kevin, Tiffany, Caroline and Mary Claire will be moving to SINGAPORE very soon. You four are some of our dearest friends and we are so blessed to have you in our lives. I am so excited for the opportunities that are ahead for each of you. However, I am so very sad for my own selfish reasons. Tiff, I am going to miss you more than you know! Nick is going to miss Kevin so much. And we are ALL (including Allison) going to miss Caroline and Mary Claire! They are the sweetest girls and we love them like they are our own! So please enjoy all of the pictures you will see over the next few months of our sweet friends before they depart to move across the world! I have to confess my ignorance. My knowledge was very slim on Singapore. Tiff informed me on some interesting facts and I found a few on my own...
*Singapore is made up of one main island and 63 surrounding islets, most of which are uninhabited. The country has only 646 square kilometers of land, about one fifth the size of Rhode Island, the smallest U.S. state.
*Singapore is one of the busiest ports in the world with over 600 shipping lines with super tankers, container ships and passenger liners sharing the busy waters with coastal fishing vessels.
*The country has an exceptionally low crime rate, thanks to very strict law enforcement policies. People who do not obey the laws are fined or imprisoned. This includes spitting, littering, smoking in prohibited areas, chewing gum, jaywalking and neglecting to flush a toilet.
*Buildings in Singapore cannot be higher than 280 metres. There are presently three buildings of that height: OUB Centre, UOB Plaza and Republic Plaza.
*The Singapore Sling was first served in 1915 at the Long Bar of the Raffles Hotel. The ingredients are gin, Cointreau, cherry brandy, Dom Benedictine, pineapple juice, Grenadine, Angoustura bitters and limes.

In other words, they are moving on to bigger and better things. We are excited for you all and will cherish our time together!
Hope everyone out there had a great Valentine's Day weekend!
