Margo is not the best "Texas" dog. She absolutely abhors the heat, but honestly, I probably would too if I had all of that fuzzy hair on me! Every summer, we shave Margo down to give her a bit of relief (even though she stays inside 99% of the time!). After pancakes, Home Depot and sushi all on Mother's Day, Nick decided to give her the summer hair cut. We typically wait until at least mid May so that we do not have another cold snap. Heck, we had a blizzard in March! So really, anything can happen! Nick shaved Margo for a record time of an hour and a half! Wow! After all of that trimming, my fuzz ball looks like a skinny girl! She seems happy and has not acted embarrassed. She even decided she still liked Nick after all of the clipping! Oh and check out the picture of Allison "riding" Margo pre haircut. Thank goodness Margo is patient! Enjoy the on set of the heat...we are ALL ready for it now!
